Unit 30 & 5 Assignment 2

Things to cover
Making an advert that will make the 5 Million Young Futures more known
Not dwelling on the negatives or making people feel guilty, focus on the positive work they do
Create an interesting and unique advert that people will remember
Compress it all into a 30 ish second advert

How we will meet the challenges of the brief
We work well together and we will incorporate everyone's ideas into the ad
We will watch other adverts, take inspiration and put our own spin on it
The brief tells us what they do and don't want so we know what will make ours successful
They want us to really think about the target audience so that it's engaging for them

Cameraman - Matt and Jade
All of us will take turns editing
Tommy the tortoise is being in it

On the grass in Ryecroft park, Audenshaw

Problems we could face
We want to film on grass and if it's raining it would limit our shooting time
Tommy might not cooperate

Key skills
Skills as a director has to tell people what to do and needs to know exactly what's happening
Skills as a cameraman have to be able to work it and make sure shots are in focus and look professional
As an editor skills needed are being able to use final cut pro well
Want it to be funny and upbeat, need a humorous script
Good with camera shots, focussing on a small object

Idea
Our idea is based around the Barclays brief. We basing it around the work that 5 Million Young Futures do, we're making it funny by having a tortoise walking slowly - getting to a finish line which has 2015 written on. It's playing on the fact that the company is slowly helping more and more people and by 2015 they will have helped 5,000,000 people get better lives.

if tommy can get to 2015 so can barclays
long live tommy and barclays

Technology
Will need a high quality camera - DSLR as it allows you to zoom in on something small, focus and you can change what is in focus in a shot
